Bruce Kodner Galleries, Inc.’s is a family owned and operated antique and jewelry auction gallery whose history dates back to the early 1920s with Bruce Kodner’s grandfather, Jacob Kodner. Their auction gallery tradition continued in Chicago with Bruce Kodner’s late fater, Albert Kodner, who owned and operated Howard Art Galleries. By the 1980s the gallery had expanded and it was then that Albert Kodner and Bruce Kodner decided to move the entire operation to South Florida. They began serving the South Florida market with a gallery in Miami Beach. With continued success, they then expanded to Dania Beach; and eventually they opened their main gallery which is currently located in a 18,000 square foot building in the heart of Lake Worth, Florida.

Bruce Kodner is the President and CEO of Bruce Kodner Galleries, Inc. and serves as its lead auctioneer. Mr. Kodner is the driving force behind the company’s tremendous success in attracting the industry’s most desirable auction items and loyal customer base. Mr. Kodner’s responsibilities include overseeing and managing all operations and departments related to the purchase, sale, consignment and appraisal of all auctioned property. Mr. Kodner also volunteers his services as an auctioneer to a number of charities each year.

Howard Steinberg is the Director of Bruce Kodner Galleries, Inc.’s fine jewelry department. Mr Steinberg joined BKG in 2007 and is a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America. Mr. Steinberg has been in the retail jewelry business for several decades and is the gallery’s main jewelry and watch buyer, as well as, being its main diamond and colored stone specialist.

The year 2009 marked another historic milestone for BKG as Bruce’s son, Jacob Kodner, joined the company as its 4th generation auctioneer following in the longtime family tradition. As well as being the company’s newest auctioneer, in 2010, Jacob Kodner became the company’s second graduate gemologist of the Gemological Institute of America. He is an accredited jewelry professional and is a GIA certified Graduate Gemologist.
